Accommodation

You live in the village, not next to it. Rooms are simple: twin beds, in a private or a shared room, with a fan, soft light and the air of the forest coming through.

This is not a hotel. That is the point. You share the rhythm of the people who live here.

Bathrooms and dry toilets are outside the rooms. You shower with clean water from a bucket, warmed over the fire when you want it.

It takes a day to get used to. After that, most people stop thinking about it.

Three meals a day, cooked in the village: simple, fresh and nourishing. Tell us before you arrive about any allergy or special diet.

There is Starlink internet in the village, on request, outside ceremony times. Many people choose to use it as little as possible. If your family needs to reach you, they can.

Our team welcomes you at Libreville airport and takes care of your transfer. The village is about three hours by road from Libreville, in the Bifoun district of the Moyen-Ogooué province. The Bifoun medical center is around 15 minutes away.

The village is growing. New guest rooms are being built right now, each with its own private bathroom and air-conditioning. The work should be finished within two to three months.

From then on, the welcome will be of another level: a new room, your own bathroom, cool air after a hot day, and the same village around you. What does not change: the ceremonies, the elders, the forest and the life of the village.

This page will show photos as soon as the new rooms are open.
